Methodology for finding military Twitter handles

One of the first things I’ve done to find military related Twitter handles is to just do a simple search on Google for ‘military twitter’. Through this search I found milblogging.com, a site dedicated to military blogs and micro-blogs. Milblogging.com has the largest directory of blogs (currently 2,378) on the Internet and thus is extremely useful.

I’ve also used the search option on Twitter and just surfed through handles that looked interesting but this is quite time consuming.

For now I’ll stick to what I find on milblogging.com and the other handles I gathered through my requests via Twitter.
